INCREASE YOUR CLICKS AND ADSENSE INCOME
Once you've tried our basic Adsense clicks tricks there are some more advanced tips on how to get even more clicks on your Adsense ads.
Pictures will attract more clicks
For most humans, vision is the most important sense. We are visual creatures and the web is also proof of this. It's time you used this to your advantage! Place a few Adsense ads next to or right underneath or above some of the more conspicuous pictures on your site. If your site doesn't have any pictures there are many royalty-free image databases out there, for example SXC. Great pictures will attract attention. Why not let your Adsense ads share some of this attention?
Adsense link units
Adsense link units is a tough one. If you don't know what we're talking about, take a look at this page. On the one hand they look like links which will make them subtly melt into the other content on your page. They're also super thin, a lot thinner than the smallest of the regular ads. But while subtleness being a pro, the fact that you need two clicks as opposed to one with regular Adsense ads is definitely a con. Try some link units for a while and see what happens. Adsense's report system will allow you to see if someone's clicked on a link belonging to a link unit. If the report shows that this click didn't make you any money, that means the user didn't make the other, obligatory click. If this appears to be the case over and over again, you might want to reconsider whether you should have Adsense link units at all on your website.
Too many Adsense ads
Be sure not to put too many Adsense ads on each page! While you're not allowed to have more than three ads on each page, even this might be too many. You don't want the visitor to think, "Oh no, another webpage full of ads!" and click the Back button. A rule of thumb could be: One cleverly placed ad per screen. That is, the part of the page that fits into the regular computer screen. People are less likely to click if they identify your page as an add-rich page.
